This is a title sequence for a TV series about a hivemind virus that infects people through water. Since the source of the virus is not revealed at the beginning of the series, I represented the virus as an abstract shape to create a sense of mystery. Everything in this title sequence, including the 3D particles, was created using After Effects. Working with software limitations forced me to create the “illusion” of a 3D underwater environment, which ultimately helped deepen my understanding of compositing.
